ROHTAS DM REVIEWED THE COMPLIANCE OF THE HIS EARLIER INSTRUCTION

SASARAM---------------------------Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, Rohtas Udita Singh, compliance of the earlier given instructions was reviewed with the officers of the departments identified for review by the Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, such as Municipal Commissioner, Sasaram / In-charge Officer, District Tourism Branch / General Manager Industries, Rohtas / Executive Engineer Electricity / Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department / Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department / Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department / Executive Engineer, Building Construction Department / Executive Engineer, Local Area Engineering Organization / All Executive Officers, Municipal Council / Nagar Panchayat etc. on the third Tuesday. In the course of the above review, all the concerned officers reviewed the electricity bill and maintenance worker's honorarium payment in the implementation of the updated Nal Jal Yojana of their department. The Executive Engineer, PHED informed that in the electricity bills consumed in a total of 2042 Nal Jal Yojanas in Rohtas, an amount of Rs. 2.49 crore has been paid so far against the total pending dues of Rs. 11.7 crore. Also, in the case of maintenance worker's payment, Rs. 5.23 crore has been paid so far against the pending amount of Rs. 9.8 crore. In this regard, the District Officer, Rohtas directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Rohtas to ensure necessary action in respect of pending electricity bill payment and maintenance worker's honorarium payment. Regarding the total 2042 Nal Jal Yojana transferred from Panchayati Raj Department to Public Health Engineering Department in Rohtas district, it was told that till now the work of 1382 wards has been completed and work is in progress in 523 wards. Necessary action is being taken in the remaining 137 wards. The Executive Engineer, PHED has been directed by the District Magistrate, Rohtas to ensure starting of Nal Jal Yojana in the remaining wards within 15 days.

In all the blocks where NOC has not been received from the concerned Zonal Officer regarding the new schemes till now, the Executive Engineer, PHED has also been directed to establish coordination and get the NOC and start the work of Nal Jal Yojana. Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department informed that in Rohtas district, a total of four big road projects including construction of Akhodhigola Bypass, construction of road from Rehal to Chaurasan Temple via Rohtasgarh Fort, widening of Dihri Akhodhigola Rajpur road and Airkota Akhodhigola Amartalab widening and left strengthening work has to be approved at the department level for which the proposal has been sent. In this context, District Magistrate, Rohtas directed that work should be started in all by establishing coordination with the concerned department in this regard.

Similarly, various types of works related to the Urban Development and Housing Department were reviewed. During the review, all the City Executive Officers and Municipal Commissioners, Municipal Corporation Sasaram were directed to ensure prompt implementation as per the guidelines given by the department level. District Welfare Officer, Rohtas was informed about the facts related to receipt and execution of applications related to total 22 types of services received under Dr. Ambedkar Samagra Seva Abhiyan.

During the review, District Officer, Rohtas was directed to achieve 100% achievement within a week by establishing coordination with the officers of the concerned department in the remaining pending works related to birth death registration/Aadhar card issuance/Pension Scheme/Distribution of Basgit Parcha to landless/Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana/Naali Gali and Nal Jal Yojana/MGNREGA Job Card etc. and was also directed to update the related data on the departmental portal. During the review by the District Officer, Rohtas, information was obtained about the work of all other concerned officers and all the officers of the concerned departments were directed to provide an updated report after resolving the problems related to their department within a week.
