ARA----------------------------A grand religious event was organized on the occasion of Guru Purnima Mahotsav in Ara of Bhojpur district. This event was organized in the holy presence of the most revered Trikaldarshi Saint, Param Siddha Santshree Devrahashivnathdas Ji Maharaj. This program took place at Devrahashivnathdham, located behind Reliance Petrol Pump, near Bihiya Chowrasta, in which a large number of devotees participated.

The program started with Shodashopachar worship, Archana and grand Maha Aarti of Santshree Devrahashivnathdas Ji Maharaj. After this, the devotees received the blessings of Santshree. In his sermon, Santshree described the glory of the Guru in detail and told that attainment of spiritual knowledge is not possible without a Guru. He said that Lord Shiva is the true Guru and one should worship his Guru not only in the month of Sawan, but at all times.

Santshree said that in this world no creature can attain God without a Guru. Guru and God both are the forms of Brahma element, but Guru element has a higher place because it is the one who unites the soul with God element. Giving a beautiful example, he said that just as it is necessary to apply primer before painting a wooden door so that the paint remains durable, similarly in life also, before attaining God, primer in the form of Guru's grace is necessary.

He also said that the person who walks on the path shown by the Guru, not only finds God, but also becomes Shiva himself. A person who turns away from the Guru keeps wandering from birth to birth and is unable to find the true path. Santshree said that only the Guru inspires the soul towards good deeds and brings him closer to God.

After the blessings, a Sankirtan was organized. In this Sankirtan, famous Mantu Vyas of Chana Kevatia, Jeetan Vyas of Sarangpur and other famous Sankirtan troupes took part. The Sankirtan Mandalis drenched the devotees in the essence of devotion with their soulful Bhajans and Kirtans. A devotional and divine atmosphere prevailed at the entire venue.

On this occasion, devotees who came from far and wide took darshan of Santshree and received his blessings. This event of Guru Purnima Mahotsav became a wonderful confluence of Guru Bhakti, Bhajans and spiritual peace, which overwhelmed all the devotees.

This program also gave the message that if you have the support of a true guiding Guru in life, then spiritual progress and attainment of God is certain. It is only by the grace of the Guru that the path of true knowledge, peace and salvation opens in man's life.
