SASARAM------------------------Vigilance department has arrested ASI Vijay Kumar Singh while taking bribe of Rs 5000 in GRP office of district headquarters Sasaram railway station. According to the information received, ASI Vijay Kumar Singh had demanded a bribe of Rs 15000 for bailing the person named in the FIR. It is said that afternoon, the team of Vigilance department suddenly reached GRP station located at Sasaram railway station. Where he was caught red handed taking bribe of Rs 5000 from Assistant Product Inspector Baranti Kumari, resident of Sanjhauli. However, GRP inspector also tried to protest, but the jawans of Vigilance department caught him. After the arrest, the team of Vigilance department brought the inspector to the Circuit House. Where when the bribe amount was soaked in water by the team, the water turned red. After completing the paperwork, the team took the bribe-taking inspector to Patna. According to DSP Kiran Kumari of the surveillance department, a case related to assault was registered against Baranti Kumari's husband Ranjit Kumar in the GRP police station. A bribe of 15 thousand rupees was demanded for bail from the police station. Bansati Devi was being harassed by the said inspector for a long time. She reached the police station with five thousand rupees. As soon as this money was given to Sub Inspector Vijay Kumar Singh, the inspector was caught by the surveillance department team. She told that this case was investigated several times before this as well. First, the surveillance department team got this case verified. He was arrested only after verification.
