ELABORATGE ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO CONDUCT THE ELECTIONS

ARA--------------------------A joint press briefing was held today at the Collectorate premises by the district administration and police regarding the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Elections 2025. The press briefing was jointly chaired by the District Election Officer (DEO) and District Magistrate (DGP), Bhojpur, and the Superintendent of Police (DGP), Bhojpur.

During the press briefing, the administration and police provided detailed preparations to ensure a peaceful, fair, and intimidating election. Officials stated that all polling stations in the district have been identified based on their sensitivity, and special security forces have been deployed at all highly sensitive polling stations.

As part of this, police forces will be deployed for flag marches, sector officers, and SST checkpoints. District police, along with CAPF (Central Armed Police Force), will be deployed at all polling stations, ensuring voters can cast their votes in a safe and secure environment.

Officials stated that special surveillance is being maintained against illegal liquor, weapons, and anti-social elements. Several actions have already been taken in this direction, such as filing FIRs for violations of the MCC (Model Code of Conduct) and the seizure of illegal weapons and liquor. Constant monitoring and preparations are underway to prevent any untoward incidents during the elections.

The District Election Officer appealed to the people of Bhojpur to exercise their franchise in large numbers and play their part in democracy. He also stated that the administration and police are fully prepared to ensure a fair, peaceful, and safe voting process.

The Superintendent of Police urged the public to immediately report any illegal activity or suspicious person to the police. He also clarified that any violence, threats, or disorder on polling day will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken.

Officials assured that the 2025 elections in Bhojpur district will be conducted in a completely peaceful and fair manner. The public was requested to participate in this important process of democracy, exercise their right to vote and cooperate in making the electoral process of Bihar successful.
