RSS Prant Pracharak Meeting Focuses on Ram Temple Donation Theft Issue

BELAGAVI - Karnataka (RNI). The annual All India Prant Pracharak meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was dominated by the issue of irregularity in the donation box at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.
All participants expressed grief over the incident during the three-day meeting held in Belagavi, Karnataka. The meeting expressed confidence that the SIT and police investigation, initiated at the request of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, will reach a decisive conclusion. The Trust was urged to ensure that no such incident occurs in future which may hurt the faith of Ram devotees.
RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale along with 226 Prant Pracharaks from across the country attended the meeting.
Training and Organizational Review
The meeting reviewed training camps conducted after March 2026. This year, 83 Sangh Shiksha Vargs and 12 Karyakarta Vikas Vargs were organized across the country, in which a total of 18,842 swayamsevaks received training.
Detailed discussions were held on branch operations, Sangh work methodology, rural development, family awareness, disaster management and environment. The plan for maximum branch expansion in September was also discussed.
Focus on Centenary Year and Social Issues
The meeting reviewed programs completed during the centenary year and planned the remaining ones. Strategies were also discussed to connect people contacted during the programs with social work and Panch Parivartan. Dr. Bhagwat's travel plan for 2026-27 was also deliberated.
RSS All India Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said the meeting discussed current issues. These included Census, challenges arising from demographic imbalance, growing drug abuse and the need for priority efforts for drug de-addiction. Planning for the 650th birth anniversary year of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Maharaj was also discussed.
