POLICE ARRESTED A YOUTH

BHABHUA------------------------Police swung into action in the Mohania police station area after a video showing a person brandishing a weapon went viral on social media. Following a technical analysis and investigation of the viral video, the police identified and arrested the youth featured in it.

The arrested youth has been identified as Ritesh Kumar (25), son of Kishun Shah and a resident of Baghini village under the Mohania police station area. According to the police, Ritesh Kumar had uploaded a video of himself with an illegal weapon on a social media platform, which quickly went viral.

After the video went viral, the Mohania police took the matter seriously and confirmed the identity of the accused through technical investigation. Following this, the police team conducted a swift raid and arrested the accused.

The police state that displaying weapons on social media is a criminal offense and sends a negative message to society. Strict action will be taken in such cases to deter anyone from taking the law into their own hands or brandishing weapons. After the arrest, an FIR was registered against the accused at the Mohania Police Station under the Arms Act. The police are now investigating the matter further. Efforts are also underway to determine whether the weapon shown in the video was licensed or illegal and where the accused obtained it. The police have appealed to the public to use social media responsibly and refrain from posting any videos that are objectionable, misleading, or in violation of the law. Anyone with information regarding such activities is urged to inform the police immediately.
