Former President Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary was celebrated as Teachers' Day on Friday in the Jubilee Hall of 'Shanti Smriti' Sambhavna Residential High School located in Shubh Narayan Nagar Majhowan of the city. The inauguration was done jointly by Principal Dr. Archana Singh and Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra. Thereafter, floral tribute was offered on the oil painting of Dr. Radhakrishnan.

ARA------------------------Former President Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary was celebrated as Teachers' Day on Friday in the Jubilee Hall of 'Shanti Smriti' Sambhavna Residential High School located in Shubh Narayan Nagar Majhowan of the city. The inauguration was done jointly by Principal Dr. Archana Singh and Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra. Thereafter, floral tribute was offered on the oil painting of Dr. Radhakrishnan.
Welcoming everyone, Principal Dr. Archana Singh said that all people directly or indirectly do the work of imparting education. An unshaped child comes to us from the lap of his mother. The teacher molds him like a potter and gives him the shape of a pot. Happiness comes when the same children get good jobs and come to school for their certificate verification. He said that only a teacher can make children good, truthful and honest people. Who can play their role in nation building. A teacher sees his success in the success of his student. In the last 29 years, one generation has passed from Sambhavna. Now the second generation is coming. We have to give moral education to the children more than studies. This is the duty of teachers.
Presiding over the function, Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra said that today is a very important day for teachers. Education is the mother of culture. Education without culture has no importance. Therefore, we should give cultured education to children. A teacher is the creator of society. We teach children so that they become cultured in future. He said that in today's era, children follow the teachers' gait, dress, behavior, conduct and discipline etc. You should adopt a new method, which will impress you. Teachers should make themselves cultured, only then children can become cultured. Your success lies in your children. So prove yourself. Sambhavna School always works for its culture and values.
Principal of Sambhavna Public School Dipesh Kumar said that teachers are the nation builders of the country. If a teacher makes a mistake, the whole generation is ruined. School's examination in-charge Rajesh Raman said that Sambhavna School transforms children from small saplings into trees. An example of this is Muskan Kumari of class XII who recently became Bhojpur topper during CBSE examination. Teacher Brajesh Tiwari said that teachers should focus on children and their families. There is no lack of knowledge in teachers. Teach good qualities to children.
In the function, the girl students also presented the group song 'Gyan ke daata Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan ka Vandan' and the group song 'Guru bachon ko rakhna sambhal ke..' and enthralled the audience. Group song was presented by students Saloni Singh, Meenakshi Pandey, Pratigya Singh, Shomya Singh, Sarika Singh, Vandana Kumari, Sikham Kumari, Shreya, Kritika Kumari, Priyanshi Singh and Shreyangni.
During the ceremony, music teacher of Sambhavna Public School, Mahesh Sharma presented Bhajan. Music teacher of Sambhavna Residential High School, Amitesh Ranjan mesmerized the audience by presenting Bhojpuri folk song, Deepesh Kumar by presenting devotional bhajan and Dharmendra Kumar Singh by presenting ghazal. Music teachers Dharmendra Kumar and Renu Pandey mesmerized the audience by presenting duet song 'Aadmi Musafir Hai…'.
In the end, the teachers and teachers of the school jointly honored the Principal Dr. Archana Singh and Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra by giving them memento and gifts. Thereafter, the Principal and Director honored all the teachers of the school by giving them clothes and gifts on the occasion of Teachers' Day. The programme was conducted by senior teacher Arvind Ojha and the vote of thanks was given by vice principal Rishikesh Ojha.
