ARA------------------------Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has leveled a serious allegation against JDU leader Lallan Singh, raising serious questions about the impartiality of the Election Commission (EC). Tejashwi Yadav alleged that Union Minister Lallan Singh is openly threatening to prevent the poor, Dalits, and extremely backward classes from voting, while the Election Commission is remaining silent.
In his statement, Tejashwi Yadav said, "Union Minister Shri Lallan Singh is openly saying that the poor, Dalits, and extremely backward classes should not be allowed to leave their homes to vote. By threatening voters, the Union Minister is flouting the Election Commission's rules and code of conduct."
Calling it a "deep conspiracy," he said that this is being done with the connivance of the administration to deprive Dalits and extremely backward classes of their right to vote. Yadav called it an attempt to destroy democracy and the Constitution.
The RJD leader directly targeted the functioning of the Election Commission. He sarcastically asked, "Will the Election Commission take action against Lallan Singh based on the auspicious time, or will it wait for Amit Shah's instructions?"
Tejashwi Yadav also raised the issue of "Bihar vs. outsider." He said, "Two outsiders, with the support of three and a half people from the JDU, are ready to go to any lengths to capture Bihar."
However, he added with a warning, "They don't know that Bihar is the mother of democracy." This statement could spark a new controversy in the Bihar election environment.
