POLICE ARRESTED THREE SMUGGLERS WITH FIREARMS
The Nagar police station, acting on a tip-off, arrested three youths from a luxury car during a vehicle checking drive near the roundabout. Two other youths in the car managed to escape, giving the police the slip. After questioning the arrested youths, they were sent to judicial custody, while the police are conducting raids to apprehend the absconding accused.

BUXAR--------------------------The Nagar police station, acting on a tip-off, arrested three youths from a luxury car during a vehicle checking drive near the roundabout. Two other youths in the car managed to escape, giving the police the slip. After questioning the arrested youths, they were sent to judicial custody, while the police are conducting raids to apprehend the absconding accused.
According to the information, the police stopped a luxury car coming from the direction of Uttar Pradesh and started questioning the five youths inside. Seeing their suspicious behavior during questioning, when they were asked to get out of the car, two of the youths suddenly fled. The police took three youths into custody and searched the car, recovering a country-made pistol.
The arrested youths have been identified as Ravi Rai, son of late Vijay Shankar Rai, a resident of Pandeypatti in the Mufassil police station area; Virendra Kumar Singh, son of Mandil Singh; and Mohammad Anish, son of Abdul Gaffar, a resident of Nai Bazaar. During questioning, they told the police that the absconding youths included Abhay Kumar Gond, son of Khublal Gond of Pandeypatti, and Guddu Chauhan. All three arrested youths were also found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Town Station House Officer Manoj Kumar Singh said that the arrested youths have been sent to jail and raids are underway to arrest the absconding accused.
