FOUR MISCREANTS ARRESTED

BHABHUA------------------------The Kaimur police (Kudra Police Station) arrested a total of four individuals—including a named accused in an assault case—during a special drive aimed at curbing crime and ensuring the effective implementation of liquor ban laws. After completing all necessary legal formalities, the police remanded the arrested individuals to judicial custody.

The Station House Officer (SHO) stated that regarding the assault case registered under Kudra Police Station Case No. 294/26... The named accused, Monu Kumar (alias Monu Kumar Chaudhary)—son of Awadhesh Chaudhary and a resident of Bishrampur, Kudra Police Station area, Kaimur district—was arrested. Following his arrest, he was interrogated, and the necessary formalities for his production before the court were completed.

Additionally, three other individuals were arrested for being under the influence of alcohol during a drive enforcing the liquor ban laws. The arrested individuals include Dadan Bind (son of Ganga Bind, resident of Bhatar, Bhagwanpur Police Station area, Kaimur district) and Sanjit Singh (son of Mahendra Singh, resident of Pevandi, Chenari Police Station area, Rohtas district). After conducting medical examinations, the police registered cases against them under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The Kudra police stated that special drives are being conducted regularly in the district to control crime, arrest individuals with outstanding warrants, and strictly enforce the liquor ban. The police have also appealed to the public to cooperate in maintaining law and order and to immediately inform the police about any criminal activity or the illegal liquor trade.
