ARA--------------------------Teachers' Day celebration was organized with great pomp in the auditorium of Mahant Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Ara. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The program was presided over by Principal Prof. Dr. Narendra Pratap Palit. In this function, while addressing the teachers, non-teaching staff and students, he highlighted the importance of education and wished for the bright future of the students. Addressing the students and teachers, he said that in today's technological era, where students are also getting education through Google and AI, the role of guidance of teachers is still above all these. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a teacher, reached the post of President, that is, only a teacher can hold all the positions. Giving the example of Chanakya, he said that Chanakya was also a teacher who had raised Chandragupta. Former Principal of the college and Head of the Department of Botany Prof. Dr. Meena Kumari inspired all the teachers to consider Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as their guide and sang Shiv geet in her melodious voice. Head of the History Department and Treasurer of the college Prof. Dr. Rajeev Kumar asked the girl students to come to the class so that the teachers can experience Teachers' Day every day.
On this occasion, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Vijayshree, Head of the English Department Dr. Smriti Chaudhary, Head of the Physics Department Dr. Shikha Awasthi and Head of the Mathematics Department Nivedita made the function more exciting by singing songs in their melodious voices. Principal Prof. Narendra Pratap Palit, former Principal Prof. Meena Kumari, Prof. Rajiv Kumar, Cultural Coordinator Mrs. Sneha Sharma and all the teachers and non-teaching staff of various departments were present. On this occasion, the stage was conducted by Khushi and Kalpana. Also, students like Mansi, Shikha, Juhi, Jagriti, Prachi, Sunidhi, Anjali, Komal, Sadhna, Kaushiki, Sakshi, Shazma Salim and others enthralled everyone with their colourful presentation. In the end, the vote of thanks was given by Cultural Coordinator Mrs. Sneha Sharma. The program concluded successfully with the national anthem.
