ARA------------------------------At the Paramanpur Chaturmasya Sthal, India's great sage Saint Shri Lakshmiprapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj said that Gangasagar is one of the best pilgrimage sites in India. People come here not only from India but also from different countries. Gangasagar is located in the state of West Bengal. Earlier in history, there was only an ocean there. Where Lord Kapil Dev was doing meditation. After the death of Kapil Dev's mother Devahuti, Lord Kapil Dev started doing meditation by going to the banks of the ocean. At the same time, Sagar Raja, a descendant of Lord Shri Ram, was once performing Ashvamedha Yagya. At that time, fearing the success of the yagya, Lord Indra took the horse of the yagya to the place where Lord Kapil Dev was doing penance and hid it there.

Here, the horse of the yagya was being searched by the sons of Sagar Raja. Sagar Raja's son was Anant. The number of his sons is said to be around 60,000. While his sons were searching for the horse of the yagya, they reached the ashram of Lord Kapil. Where they saw that the horse of the yagya was kept there. The sons of King Sagar started abusing Lord Kapil Muni. Whereas the horse was tied there by Indra. Lord Kapil was doing penance there. Suddenly his eyes opened and all the people were burnt to ashes. Now when the sons of King Sagar were burnt to ashes there, there was chaos.

Due to the request of King Sagar, Lord Kapil Muni told the way to bring those people back again. Lord Kapil Muni told King Sagar that you bring Ganga ji, only then all your sons will be able to live. King Sagar did penance there for three generations. After which, by pleasing Brahma ji, Bhagirathi was successful in bringing Ganga. When Ganga emerges from Haridwar, it is said that Bhagirathi is Ganga. The Ganga which is before Haridwar comes inside Devbhoomi. The origin of Ganga is Gaumukh. From where Ganga emerges. By the way, Gangotri is said to be the origin of Ganga in the pilgrimage. But the main place from where Ganga originates is Gaumukh. Bhagirathi, a descendant of Lord Shri Ram, brought Ganga to the sea. After which the same Ganga was able to revive the sons of King Sagar. After which the sea and Ganga met. The best pilgrimage place in the pilgrimage is called Gangasagar. Where the ashram of Lord Kapil, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is also present. If you go to Gangasagar for bathing, there is a grand temple of Lord Kapil Muni there. Where everyone also worships.
