ARA----------------------Celebration concluded with blood donation and health checkup on Aghoreshwar Janmotsav. On the first day of Aghoreshwar Janmotsav Celebration organized by the courtesy of Maa Maitrayani Yogini Memorial Site located in Gundi, on 11th September, great enthusiasm was seen among the Aghora devotees. Since morning, hundreds of people participated in religious rituals like Puja-Path, Aarti-Pujan, Prasad Grahan etc. being held at Maa Maitrayani Yogini Memorial Site. After this, around 500 people from Gundi village and nearby areas came to this health camp under the 'Free Health Checkup Camp' organized in the 'Ma Maitrayani Yogini Senior Secondary School-Gundi' campus and availed the benefit of necessary medical advice after being examined by doctors. Apart from this, around 10-12 people reached the 'Blood Donation Camp' and donated blood. Encouraged by the success of these programs organized on the first day of ‘Aghoreshwar Janmotsav Samaroh’, the members of the organizing committee expressed hope that the cooperation of local residents and Aghori devotees on the second day of this celebration, 12 September, will also help in making ‘Aghoreshwar Janmotsav Samaroh’ memorable.

It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of the birth anniversary (12 September) of Baba Avdhoot Bhagwan Ram Ji alias Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu, a great saint of the twentieth century born in Gundi village and the great bearer of the Aghor tradition, a two-day ‘Aghoreshwar Janmotsav Samaroh’ is being organized under the aegis of Aghoracharya Baba Keenaram Aghor Research and Service Institute-Gundi branch of Varanasi. On the second day of the celebration, 12 September, apart from religious rituals and distribution of prasad, many types of cultural programs are being organized along with an ideological seminar on the topic ‘Aghor tradition and relevance of Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu’.
