ARA--------------------------Today I am presenting the last episode of Hindi Diwas fortnight. I am sure that all of you must have gained some information about Hindi through me. I believe that the material presented to you all through the Hindi Diwas fortnight serial must have aroused some curiosity in all of you about the Hindi language.
14 September is the day of Hindi, the language that unites the whole country. Hindi Diwas is of great importance in India, a country full of cultural diversity. Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14 September. Reason:--1. Recognition in the Constitution: On 14 September 1949, the Constituent Assembly adopted Hindi as the official language of India. 2. Official Language Act: The Official Language Act was passed in 1963, which made Hindi the official language of the Union. 3. Linguistic Importance: Hindi is the most widely spoken language in India and a symbol of cultural heritage.
Objective:-Promotion of Hindi: To promote the use of Hindi. Linguistic Unity: To strengthen linguistic unity in the country. Cultural Importance: To respect Hindi literature and culture.
Events:--At government level: Government departments organize Hindi Diwas. In educational institutions: Hindi Diwas is celebrated in schools and colleges. Cultural programs: Organizing kavi sammelan, essay competition etc.
Importance:-National identity: Hindi is a part of India's national identity. Media: Hindi is widely spoken and understood. Literary heritage: Hindi literature is rich and diverse.
It is Hindi that bridges the distance between people of different regions and binds everyone in the thread of unity. Hindi is not only our mother tongue but it is also a symbol of national identity and pride. Hindi Diwas is a proud moment for every Indian citizen.
Be it reading, writing or speaking, Hindi is emerging as a popular language in the country and the world. The Internet has given it a new strength. In the digital world of the country, the demand for Hindi content is increasing five times faster than English. Let us know why we should be proud of being Hindi speakers. After all, Hindi is the third largest language in the world, which is a matter of pride for all of us.
The love for Hindi has reached across borders. Hindi films, songs and music and Hindi lyrics attract foreigners to India. Every year, about 100 students from more than 40 countries come to the Central Hindi Institute to learn Hindi. After returning to their respective countries, they find employment opportunities through Hindi.
The Central Hindi Institute in Agra has been playing an important role in the promotion of Hindi for five decades. Every year 250 students from 20 non-Hindi speaking states of India come here to learn Hindi. Every year around 100 citizens from 31 countries take admission here. The institute has so far trained more than a thousand foreigners in Hindi.
Students from Afghanistan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Chad, China, Croatia, Egypt, Fiji, France, Hungary, Lithuania, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, Suriname, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Trinidad Tobago, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam etc. come here to learn Hindi. Most of the students who have learnt Hindi make teaching Hindi their profession. They easily get jobs in companies related to trade with India. They also have opportunities to become officers in embassies, tourist guides, translators etc.
Hindi Vishwavidyalaya Wardha Gujarat, Central Hindi Institute, Nagari Pracharini Sabha Varanasi, Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Rajbhasha Parishad, Bihar Granth Academy, South India Hindi Prachar Sabha, North-East Hindi Prachar Sabha etc. are many such institutions which are continuously engaged in the development of Hindi.
