ASKING FOR DOWRY, TAKING DOWRY IS A CURSE FOR THE SOCIETY: JIYAR SWAMI
At Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal, India's great sage Saint Shri Lakshmiprapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj said that asking for dowry in marriage is a big curse on the society. When Lord Ram was also married, dowry was given by King Janak. But King Dasharath did not ask for anything from Janak ji. King Janak willingly gave so much dowry that there was no place to keep it in Ayodhya. The goods given in dowry were kept outside in Ayodhya. Later on, it came to be known as Mani Pahad, which is still situated in Ayodhya. It is not that there was no tradition of dowry earlier. But today, the way in which dowry is being demanded by the boy's side in marriage by harassing the girl's father, it is absolutely wrong.

ARA-----------------------------At Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal, India's great sage Saint Shri Lakshmiprapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj said that asking for dowry in marriage is a big curse on the society.
Separate dowry is demanded by the boy's father for opening the mandap, separate dowry for eating food, that is, something or the other is demanded in everything. On the other hand, when the boy who is getting married is offered food at his in-laws' place, he says that he will not eat until he gets a gold chain or a ring. This new trend that has started is very wrong. Whatever is given by the girl's side voluntarily, should be accepted. But it is very wrong to demand something on the occasion of marriage. In marriage, clan, lineage, caste etc. should be given prime importance. The boy and the girl should be eligible. Marriage has special importance.
It is mentioned in the scriptures that the sanskar of the parents of the girl of the house in which the boy gets married, is also seen in the future lineage. Whatever boy or girl is born, the sanskar of five people is included in it. Sanskar of parents, sanskar of grandparents, sanskar of maternal grandfather and grandmother, sanskar of Guru, sanskar of ancestors etc. That is why, the sanskar of the house in which the marriage is done, should also be seen. It is even mentioned in the scriptures that a wicked person can be born in a good home and good people can be born in the home of a wicked person.
Manu and Shatarupa's family also had some wicked people in their lineage. It is said that Manu and Shatarupa had five children. Two of them were sons. Whose names were Priyavrat and Uttanapada. Three daughters were born. Whose names are Aakriti, Devahuti and Prasuti. Of these three daughters, Aakriti was married to Ruchi Prajapati. Devahuti was married to sage Kardam. Prasuti was married to Daksha Prajapati. Of the two sons of Manu and Shatarupa, the first son Priyavrat left home and went to the forest for penance. The second son Uttanapada was married. Uttanapada's first wife's name was Suniti and the second one was Suruchi. These two had two different sons. Dhruv ji was born from Suniti. Suruchi had a son named Uttam.
Dhruv ji had left home in childhood to do penance. After which he pleased Lord Shriman Narayan. After getting the boon, he took charge of his kingdom again, while Uttanapada took charge of the kingdom for 3600 years. Dhruv ji's brother Uttam had ended his life after a dispute with Yaksha. The king of Yakshas is Kuber ji. Later, a compromise was reached between Dhruv ji and Kuber ji.
Here Dhruv ji was taking care of the kingdom. Dhruv ji also got married there. His first marriage was with Bhrmi, daughter of Prajapati Shishumar. From whom two sons were born. Whose names were Kalp and Vatsara. Dhruv ji's second marriage was with Ila, daughter of Vayu. From whom one son and one daughter were born. Later, Dhruv ji asked his son Utkal to take charge of the kingdom. That Utkal became the king and started taking charge of the kingdom. Dhruv ji started going to Lord Vishnu's Lok after completing his royal duties. Lord Vishnu's councilors had come with a plane to pick him up. When Dhruv ji was going by plane, he remembered where his mother was. She should also come with him. Lord Vishnu's councilors told Dhruv ji that his mother was also going to Lord Vishnu's Lok by another plane. Hearing this, Dhruv ji started moving forward happily. When Dhruv ji reached Lord Vishnu's Lok, Lord Shriman Narayan created a Dhruv Lok for Dhruv ji. Where Dhruv ji started living in his Lok.
The life of Dhruv ji's first wife's two sons Kalp and Vatsara also ended. Utkal was handling the administration of the administration, seeing his administration, the people were looking at him with a different eye. Later, King Ang was born in Dhruv ji's lineage. He was married to Mrityu's daughter Sunitha. King Ang and Sunitha had a son. Whose name was Prince Ven. Ven was a very mischievous person in a family like Manu, Shatarupa and Dhruv ji. He started considering himself as God. He started saying that whoever does Japa, Tapa, Puja, Paath, Havan, will do it in my name. I am God, I am everything, this is how he became a mischievous person. Later, the people of his kingdom together killed him. When King Ven died, the people of the kingdom started thinking that there should be at least one king. His body was churned. After which a boy and a girl came out of the churning. The boy's name was King Prithu and the girl's name was Archi. King Prithu was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Archi appeared as an incarnation of Lakshmi.
