WIDOW SHOT DEAD, DAUGHTER ACCUSES UNCLE

PATNA-----------------------A 48-year-old widow woman was shot dead in Muradpur village of Janipur police station area of Phulwari Sharif, causing a stir in the area. The deceased has been identified as Shobha Devi, wife of late Shambhu Paswan, whose husband was working in Jharkhand and Shobha Devi used to get pension after his death. The family came to know about the incident in the morning, after which there was chaos in the house. The deceased's daughter Neha Kumari has accused her maternal uncle Shankar Paswan of killing her mother.

According to Neha, Shankar Paswan had an eye on the pension amount and he often used to argue with her mother over money. There was an altercation between the two late at night, after which the uncle shot and fled. Shankar Paswan is a resident of Jaitiya in Gaurichak. Shankar is an auto driver who mostly lived at Shobha Devi's house in Muradpur.

After getting the information, SDPO Deepak Kumar, Janipur SHO Naveen Kumar reached with the force. FSL team was called. The body was sent for postmortem. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused on the basis of the daughter's statement. Police have recovered the front part of the bullet from the spot.
