VIGILENCE ARRESTED REVENUE EMPLOYEE AND BROKER RED HANDED

SASARAM-------------------------Vigilance Investigation Bureau took action against corruption in Daawat Zone Office of the district on Thursday. The team from Patna caught revenue employee Kanhaiya Kumar and middleman Sunil Kumar red handed while taking bribe. Revenue employee Kanhaiya Kumar posted in Babhnaul Panchayat was taking a bribe of Rs 18 thousand in a land related case. Vigilance department arrested both the accused and took them to Patna. It is said that a person named Bittu Kumar, resident of Daawat, was being made to run around for the last three months in the name of mutation of 40 decimal land. Despite being made to run several times by the CO, the work was not done. Later, revenue employee Kanhaiya Kumar demanded Rs 18 thousand for mutation of 40 decimal land. After that, the victim contacted vigilance and today vigilance caught revenue employee Kanhaiya Kumar and his broker Sunil Singh red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 18 thousand. According to Vigilance DSP DL Srivastava, this action was taken on the complaint of the person. After verifying the complaint, the vigilance team laid a trap. The revenue employee and the middleman were caught during the money transaction. Both will be presented in the special court of vigilance. Let us tell you that this is the fifth action of the Vigilance Department and CBI in Rohtas district in the last two months.
