TWO COUSINS DROWNED IN THE POND

SASARAM-----------------------Two teenage cousins ​​died due to drowning while bathing in the Shiv Sarovar pond located at Sanjhauli block headquarters of the district. The deceased have been identified as 12-year-old Ankush Kumar, son of Ranjan Chaudhary, a resident of Bari Tola village, and 14-year-old Shivam Kumar, son of late Sonu Chaudhary. After the incident, there was chaos in the entire family and there is an atmosphere of mourning in the village.

It is said that both the children were playing near the pond. During the game, the ball fell into the pond. To take out the ball, Shivam took off his clothes and tried to get into the pond, but he went into deep water. When Ankush also jumped into the pond to save him, he also drowned. Seeing both the children drowning, other children playing nearby started making noise. Hearing the sound, local people reached the spot and after a lot of effort, took both of them out of the water. But by then both had died. On receiving the information, the police sent both the bodies to Sadar Hospital Sasaram for post-mortem.
