ARA-------------------------The son of Sukhrauli village in Bhojpur, Bihar, with whose help the parents had weaved dreams of their old age, returned in a coffin today. Gaurav, who went abroad 20 months ago under the influence of drug mafias, could not return home alive. But despite spending crores of rupees, when his coffin reached the village and the lid was opened, there was such a scene in front that the soul of the whole village trembled.

Pakistani drug peddler held him hostage: Gaurav was lured and taken away from the village by some people. It was said - "Lakhs will be earned abroad, the expenses will also be ours." Gaurav did not mind this proposal then. Amidst greed and dreams, Gaurav reached Iran with those people, but his life became hell there. He yearned to return to his country but the drug peddler kidnapped him and held him hostage. Ransom demand of 2 crores: Meanwhile, the family started receiving calls from abroad. The Pakistani drug peddler started demanding 2 crores. It was clearly stated that - "If the money is not received, they will kill him in such a way that it will be difficult to even identify him." The condition of the family was bad, but the amount was so big that they could not do anything.

Gaurav was brutally murdered in Iran: As soon as the deadline of this horrifying threat expired, the drug peddlers killed Gaurav horribly. Looking at the dead body brought to the village, it seems that he was brutally treated. Gaurav's head was hit with an iron rod, one of his hands was also cut off. The murder was so brutal that every member of the village shuddered after seeing the dead body.

30 crores were spent in bringing the body: The process of bringing the body from Iran dragged on for about 9-10 months. During this time, Gaurav's body could be brought to India by spending about 30 crores. But the body had completely rotted due to the long wait and journey. The smell was so strong that the family members had to stand near the body with a cloth tied over their mouth. To reduce the smell, the family members sprayed perfume but the stench did not reduce.

Parents shattered by the death of young son: As soon as the coffin was opened in the village, everyone's eyes became moist. The father said - "Gaurav was the most obedient son of the house, he was the support of the old parents." The elderly father cremated the son with trembling hands.

The family members say - "Gaurav was our Shravan Kumar, who had promised to support us, but greed and deceit took him away from us."

"The person who took Gaurav from here is completely at fault. I do not even know where he was from. Gaurav was taken from here due to greed for money, he told Gaurav to come with me, you will earn two to four lakh rupees a month. We will take you with our money, you will not have to spend even a rupee. Due to this greed, Gaurav went with the drug peddlers. 9 to 10 months were spent in paperwork only. Money in the form of son was lost.''- father of deceased Gaurav

Demand for justice: The family is now pleading to the government that those who trapped Gaurav and sent him abroad and then killed him, should be given such a punishment that even the onlookers will shudder.

'Long ago, a ransom of two crores was demanded through WhatsApp calling from Pakistan and Iran numbers. The drug peddlers had said that if the money is not given, he will be brutally murdered. After a few days, another call was made saying that they will beat him so badly that the soul will shudder. Today their words seem to be true. Gaurav's dead body is not worth seeing at all. We demand from the government that such a soul-shivering punishment should be given to those people as well.''- Prem Kumar, family of deceased Gaurav.
