SUPPORTERS OF RJD CANDIDATE ASSAULTED, ONE ARRESTED

ARA----------------------------Tensions escalated during the campaign of the Grand Alliance's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate in the Shahpur assembly constituency on Sunday when a dispute over lighting escalated into a violent clash and a fierce fight broke out. One person was seriously injured in the incident. Upon receiving information, local police arrived at the scene and began an in-depth investigation.

According to reports, the injured person has been identified as Krishna Kumar, son of Sudarshan Ram, a resident of Mishrauli village in the Bihiya police station area. Krishna Kumar is said to be a supporter of the RJD candidate. A video of the entire incident is rapidly going viral on social media. The viral video clearly shows youths from the accused party brutally beating a young man.

Superintendent of Police Raj stated that RJD candidate Rahul Tiwari from the Shahpur assembly constituency was campaigning with his supporters in Mishrauli village under the Bihiya police station area. Meanwhile, when he reached the Kali temple in Mishrauli village, Sanjeev Mishra and his associates present there protested against lighting the lights in the temple and a resident of the same village and a supporter of Rahul Tiwari was beaten up. One person was injured in the incident.

Immediately after the incident, the police took prompt action and arrested the main accused, Sanjeev Mishra, son of Punu Mishra, a resident of Mishrauli village in the Bihiya police station area. He also informed that the injured Krishna Kumar has filed an FIR against eight and ten-fifteen unknown people. The police is continuously conducting raids to arrest the other accused.
