SANITATION WORKERS ARE NOT ABLE TO LIFT GARBAGE

BHABHUA-------------------------Due to no door to door garbage lifting, filth is spreading in the village. Under Swachh Bihar Page 2, door to door garbage is not being lifted in all the Panchayat selected villages of Rampur block, due to which the villagers are throwing the garbage of their houses here and there. Due to this, filth is seen spread on the streets and roads, Video Drishti Pathak held several meetings and gave strict instructions to take initiative in this direction, but his instructions are also not being followed. Kharenda, Belav, Pashai, Amavan, Jalalpur, Bhitari Bandh, Barkagaon of Rampur block have been selected for door to door garbage lifting under Swachh Mission 2. Bhardwaj Bind of Kharenda village said that due to lack of proper monitoring by the responsible officer, sanitation workers are being lax in lifting garbage, whereas dustbins have also been made available to the villagers for lifting garbage. Two sweepers have been appointed in one ward, other resources have been made available for cleaning apart from handcarts and e-rickshaws, lakhs of rupees have been spent on the purchase of these things but they are not being used properly. It was told that sweepers and supervisors have been put on duty for the success of this campaign, but garbage is not being lifted on time.
