RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA-------------------------------Erosion in flood affected areas including Mani Rai's Tola and Achraj Rai's Tola of Barhara Assembly. The State General Secretary issued a press release and in his statement accused the state government and local administration of negligence and corruption in the work of preventing erosion due to floods. He said that the state government and the district administration spent 9-10 crore rupees for flood erosion in the flood affected areas of Bhojpur. But the way these villages are being continuously eroded by Ganga ji, it seems that even 9-10 lakhs would not have been spent. He alleged that large scale looting is taking place in the name of flood in the entire Barhara area. The government and administration have created a loot in the entire Barhara. Manoj Singh said that in the name of flood, wherever there are flood-affected people in the villages, only superficial formalities are being done. The government and administration have completely failed in providing relief material to the flood-affected people of Barhara. While making serious allegations, he said that the representative of Barhara has become quiet after taking his share. He has nothing to do with the problems of the common people. The people of Barhara are watching everything and will answer this in the upcoming assembly elections. Manoj Singh has said that the state government and the district administration should soon declare Barhara as flood-affected by reviewing the affected area of Badhara assembly constituency, otherwise we will be forced to protest. During this tour, Janardan Yadav, Deepak Rai, Awadh Mishra, Laxman Singh, Ripu Singh, Anjani Singh, Deepak Bin, Ravi Bin, Akash Paswan and others were present with the State General Secretary.
