ARA-----------------------------On Thursday, Badhara's RJD leader Ram Babu Singh alias Ashok Singh supported Rajput Mahapanchayat's agitation against criminals and said that Rajput Mahapanchayat's agitation will continue till Sumit Singh's killers are punished. He said that it is the result of Mahapanchayat's pressure that police action was intensified and 3 absconding criminals involved in the murder surrendered in court. But justice will not be accomplished by surrender only. Till Sumit Singh's family does not get justice and security, the agitation will continue.

Angry over the recent murder of drug dealer Sumit Singh, Rajput Mahapanchayat took out a torch procession and protested and expressed concern over the growing morale of criminals in Bhojpur. Rajput Mahapanchayat staged a sit-in protest in front of JP Memorial Collectorate in the city on Wednesday. During the demonstration, the President of the Mahapanchayat, Ramkumar Singh said that it is very sad that people of Rajput society are being killed selectively in Bhojpur and the administration is a mute spectator. Rinku Singh Mukhiya demanded the administration to arrest the culprits immediately. Manmohan Singh also demanded the administration to conduct a speedy trial and hang the culprits soon. Prominent people from across the district were present in the protest, including Dr. Kumar Jitendra, Dr. Vikas Singh, Dr. Anil Singh, Prakash Singh, Fantu Mukhiya, Anshu Singh Sikriwal, Rana Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Bharat Singh Sahayogi, Shrikumar Singh, Manjhil Singh, Munnu Singh, Vinay Singh, Ajit Singh, Raju Singh, Nirmal Singh Sikriwal, Putul Singh, Rakesh Singh Mukhiya, Mantu Singh Mukhiya, Amarendra Rajesh, Puja Singh, RJD leader Manoj Singh, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Aas Narayan Singh, Ajit Singh, Surendra Singh, Putul Singh, Jaswant Narayan Singh media in-charge Prakash Singh and many others participated. Everyone demanded the arrest of Sumit Singh's murderers, compensation of Rs 50 lakhs to the victim's family and security for the family along with a government job.

The Mahapanchayat got the support of Kunwar Sena. Kunwar Sena president Surendra Singh demanded the immediate arrest of the murderers from the district and police administration. Not only this, the Mahapanchayat said that if the district police did not arrest the murderers within a week, then a traffic jam would be organized in Ara. The very next day after the threat of agitation, the news of the surrender of the criminals was received.
