PATNA------------------------Arthik Hal, Yuvaon Ka Bal scheme was launched under "Saat Nischay". The main objective of this scheme was to provide easy educational loan to the youth for higher education. Honorable Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar himself had announced that the education loan taken under this scheme will not have to be returned until the beneficiary students get employment.
But, now news is constantly coming out that banks and concerned officials are sending notices to these students, even threatening to register FIR. This is not only putting unnecessary mental pressure on the students, but is also contrary to the basic spirit of the government and the announcement of Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar.
It appears that Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar is not aware of this situation. If the bureaucracy continues to harass the youth in this way, it will have a direct negative impact on the image of the government.
Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar should take this matter seriously and give clear instructions that no pressure, notice or FIR action should be taken until a student gets employment.
