ARA----------------------------The government, local public representatives and administration have shown indifference in fulfilling this basic need. Due to this, vehicles are parked on the roadside and there is a huge traffic jam every day.

The need for a well-organized bus stand has been felt for a long time in Shahpur Nagar Panchayat of Bhojpur district. The residents of the area have to face many difficulties in traveling because at present there is no fixed place for buses to stop. A passenger shed has been built on the NH-84 main road near Thana Mor. But, due to dirt, it is difficult for the passengers to sit. Passengers are forced to wait for buses by standing unsafely on the roadside, due to which there is a risk of accidents.

Unfortunately, the government, local public representatives and administration have shown indifference in fulfilling this basic need. Due to this, vehicles are parked on the roadside and there is a huge traffic jam every day. People remain troubled. The students going to and coming from school, workers, laborers, shopkeepers and passersby have to face the most trouble.

As the district headquarters is 28 km away from Ara, there is a constant movement of vehicles here. Most of the hired vehicles are parked in the middle of the road. Auto rickshaws, e-rickshaws, pickups, buses, tractors, trailers, trucks, tempos and other small and big hired vehicles stop on the roadside to drop passengers. After stopping on the roadside, they call out to the passengers to leave and make them sit in the vehicle. The problem increases further when big buses coming from far off places like Ranchi, Tata, Bokaro, Dhanbad stop on the road, drop passengers and seat other passengers before going to their destination.

Due to the absence of bus, taxi and auto stands in Shahpur Nagar Panchayat area, small and big vehicles are always parked on the road. Due to this, there is a problem of jam throughout the day in the Nagar Panchayat. A stand has been made by parking autos on the road right in front of Shahpur police station. There is jam every day in Shahpur due to roadside parking of vehicles on Banahi Road and Karnamepur Road. Due to this, there is always a possibility of an accident. Due to this, the residents of the city remain troubled and distressed.

Trouble till evening due to parking on the road: The area around NH-84 Purani Bazar Mor to Shahpur Thana Mor, Banahi Road and Karnamepur Road of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat remains troubled by traffic jam throughout the day. Due to this, the residents of the city as well as the people going to the headquarters have to face problems.

Buses of Ranchi, Tata, Bokaro and Dhanbad are available from here. Due to this, passengers travel from here. To catch the bus, people have to wait for hours by standing on the roadside.
