POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS

ARA-----------------------Bhojpur district's Chauri police station achieved a major success during patrolling. During a vehicle check near Kolodihari village in the police station area, police arrested a criminal with an illegal weapon, while his accomplice managed to escape. Superintendent of Police Raj issued a press release detailing the incident.

According to the Superintendent of Police, a police team from Chauri police station was conducting a vehicle check near Kolodihari village. Meanwhile, two suspicious young men riding a speeding Apache bike attempted to flee upon spotting the police. Police responded swiftly and gave chase. While attempting to escape, one of the men suddenly fell and was immediately apprehended.

When the arrested man was searched, an illegal country-made pistol was recovered from him. His accomplice fled with the bike. Following the arrest, police registered an FIR under the Arms Act at the Chauri police station against the arrested suspect and his absconding accomplice.

The Superintendent of Police stated that the arrested suspect has been identified as Mohammad Rizwan, son of Mohammad Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Bagar village in the Sikrahata police station area. According to preliminary investigations and police records, the arrested suspect, Mohammad Rizwan, has a prior criminal history.
