ARA-----------------------Prashant Kishore once again became the "Vishal" with the highest number of votes in Bhojpur, setting a record in the assembly elections.

While the NDA performed remarkably well in the assembly elections, sweeping the Grand Alliance in all seven seats, the Tarari MLA created history by garnering the highest number of votes in the district, 96,887. A breakdown of the vote count from all seven assembly constituencies in the district revealed that Tarari MLA Vishal Prashant secured the highest number of votes, garnering 96,887.

The second-highest vote share in the district is held by BJP candidate Sanjay Singh Tiger from Ara, who received 94,201 votes. He also set the record for defeating the CPI(ML) candidate by the highest margin of 19,581 votes in the district. Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha from Jagdishpur holds the record for the third-highest vote share in the district and the highest vote share in his party.

He created history in Jagdishpur by garnering a record 92,974 votes. No candidate had received such a high number of votes here in recent times. He also secured the second-highest vote share in the district, defeating the BJP candidate from Shahpur by 18,193 votes.

Rakesh Ranjan, the BJP candidate from Shahpur, came in fourth with 88,655 votes. Radhacharan Seth, the JDU candidate from Sandesh, came in fifth with 80,598 votes.

Barhara candidate and former minister Raghavendra Pratap Singh secured the sixth-highest vote share in the district with 79,593 votes. Mahesh Paswan, the BJP candidate from Agiaon, came in seventh with a record 69,412 votes, defeating his opponent. Winners in all seven assembly constituencies received votes.
