PATNA------------------------Pawan Singh met with Upendra Kushwaha along with BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde, raising speculation about the assembly elections. Last year, Pawan Singh was expelled from the BJP. Now, just before the Bihar assembly elections, discussions have heated up after his meeting with the heads of the BJP and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

Bhojpuri cinema superstar Pawan Singh met with BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde on Tuesday. Several photos of this meeting, held at MP Upendra Kushwaha's residence, are going viral. After the meeting, Tawde said, "Pawan Singh remains in the BJP. Respected Upendra Kushwaha has extended his best wishes and blessings. In the coming days, Pawan Singh will actively work for the NDA as a BJP worker."

It's worth noting that some time ago, BJP leader RK Singh said that Pawan Singh was first offered a ticket from the BJP, then denied permission to contest, and was denied a ticket from anywhere else. This was a bit painful to hear. Therefore, I believe Pawan Singh should rejoin the BJP. Following RK Singh's statement, there was speculation that Pawan Singh had completely severed ties with the BJP. However, Tawde's statement has once again reignited discussions about Pawan Singh.

In last year's Lok Sabha elections, the BJP nominated Pawan Singh from the Asansol seat. However, the very next day, Pawan Singh refused to contest the seat. The Trinamool Congress had nominated Shatrughan Sinha for the seat. After Pawan Singh's withdrawal, his distance from the BJP began to grow. However, the next stage came when the Bhojpuri star announced his candidacy for the Karakat seat as an independent. The NDA had already nominated Upendra Kushwaha for this seat. Following this, the BJP expelled Pawan Singh.

However, Pawan Singh's contest from Karakat resulted in Kushwaha's defeat in the Lok Sabha elections due to vote division. This led to a rift within the NDA. It is said that the Kushwaha community also harbored resentment towards the BJP. Therefore, the BJP was preparing to address this resentment before the assembly elections.
