Patna SSP Kartikeya Sharma said that the accused of Chandan Mishra murder case would have been caught earlier, but some unconfirmed news was run by the media. Due to which the investigation was hindered. We will issue show cause notices against those who publish fake and unverified news, and seek answers. He appealed and instructed that the media is requested not to publish news in such cases without confirmation. Patna Police keeps giving updates related to the case.
The police said that Nishu Khan is said to be the cousin of Tausif Badshah, who is a resident of Samanpura in Patna. He has been injured by a bullet earlier. According to the police, Nishu had given shelter to the main shooter Tausif Badshah and other shooters Monu Singh, Balwant Singh, Abhishek and Nilesh in his house before the murder. The murder plot was hatched at Nishu's house where the shooters did a recce of the hospital.
