ARA-------------------------A horrific road accident took place on Ara-Chhapra four lane near Modhai Tola between Rajapur and Jamalpur market of Koilwar police station area on Friday morning. An uncontrolled truck loaded with sand hit another truck parked on the roadside, due to which the truck cleaner died on the spot. After this incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the area for a long time

The deceased has been identified as Vishal Kumar, 18-year-old son of Vidyanand Yadav, resident of Mustafapur village of Bihta police station area of ​​​​Patna district. Vishal was a truck cleaner by profession.

The deceased's family member Govind Kumar said that Vishal was going to Sitamarhi after loading sand on the truck from Koilwar Son river sand ghat. While trying to overtake near Modhai Tola between Rajapur and Jamalpur Bazar, the truck driver hit a truck parked on the roadside from behind. The collision was so severe that Vishal died on the spot. After the accident, the truck driver fled leaving the truck.

Other truck drivers coming behind Vishal called and informed his family about the incident. On receiving the information, the family reached the spot. Meanwhile, the local police station also reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

It is said that Vishal was the third among his two brothers and two sisters. His family consists of mother Pratima Devi, two sisters Tanu Devi and Anjali Kumari, and a brother Nitin Kumar. After this tragic incident, there is chaos in Vishal's house. Mother Pratima Devi and all the family members are crying inconsolably. This accident once again underlines the importance of road safety and caution to be taken while overtaking.
