ONE CRORE YOUTH WILL GET EMPLOYMENT, DOUBLE SUBSIDY AND FREE LAND ON SETTING UP INDUSTRY

PATNA---------------------------The Bihar government has announced an ambitious scheme to provide employment to the youth of the state and promote industries. After completing the target of providing government jobs and employment to 50 lakh youth announced in 2020 under Saat Nishchay-2, now the government has set a new target of providing jobs and employment to 1 crore youth in the next five years.

The state government has decided to give a special economic package to encourage the private sector to set up industries in Bihar. Many important provisions have been made under this package, which will accelerate industrial development in the state:

Double incentive amount: The incentive amount given for capital subsidy, interest subsidy and GST will be doubled. This step will provide financial assistance to entrepreneurs and attract investment. 2. Provision of free land: The government will arrange land for setting up industries in all the districts. Apart from this, industries which generate maximum employment will be given free land. This provision is especially for those big industries which can generate large scale employment in the state. 3. Resolution of land disputes: All disputes related to the land allotted for setting up industries will be resolved so that entrepreneurs can start their work without any hindrance. 4. Six month time limit: All these facilities will be given to those entrepreneurs who start the process of setting up industries in the next six months.

The government says that the aim of these provisions is to make Bihar an industrial hub, make the youth skilled and self-reliant, and create more and more employment opportunities for them. The government also informed that a detailed notification will be issued soon in this regard, which will mention all the terms and conditions. This initiative of the state government will not only increase investment in Bihar, but will also secure the future of the youth here, which is expected to reduce the problem of migration.
