ARA---------------------------In a press statement issued today, Acharya Dr. Bharat Bhushan Pandey, National President of the All India Jan Sangh and a renowned Bhagwat speaker, said that the names of Buxar, Ara, etc., are historical and mythological. There is no need to change them.  Reacting to the proposed name changes of Buxar by Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Bhim Singh and Ara by Lok Sabha MP Sudama Prasad, Acharya Bharat Bhushan said that the names of sacred places that were desecrated by foreign invaders, such as Bakhtiyarpur and Bihar Sharif, should be changed to restore their ancient identity. Buxar retains its ancient mythological identity as well as its modern and historical identity. Despite being the site of famous battles, its name and form have remained unchanged. Therefore, its name should remain as it is. He said that similarly, Ara is also a place of historical and mythological importance. Any change in its name would be completely inappropriate. The Jan Sangh president said that the stain of history should be washed away by changing the name of Bakhtiyarpur to Nalanda and Bihar Sharif to Biharshri.
