BUXAR--------------------------In his address, the Chief Minister said that in the last 20 years, Bihar has seen significant development in education, health, road construction, bridges, etc. Any remaining shortcomings will be addressed in the next five years. He stated that in the next five years of the NDA government, the state will promote jobs and industry.
The Chief Minister addressed an election rally in Dumraon, focusing on development work undertaken in Buxar, and did not forget the Malai Barrage said that under the NDA government, there is an atmosphere of love, brotherhood, and peace throughout the state.
One crore youth will be provided jobs and employment in Bihar in the next five years. In the last five years, 10 lakh youth have been provided government jobs and 40 lakh have been provided employment. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made these remarks while addressing an election rally held on Saturday at the playground of the historic Raj High School in Dumraon. He said that since he was first sworn in as Chief Minister on November 24, 2005, the NDA government has brought a wave of development to Bihar.
In his address, the Chief Minister stated that significant progress has been made in education, health, road construction, bridges, and other areas in Bihar over the past 20 years. Any remaining shortcomings will be addressed in the next five years. He stated that the next five years of the NDA government will promote employment and industry in the state. During his address, the Chief Minister sharply criticized the opposition, questioning the state's pre-2005 situation.
Crime and riots were rampant throughout Bihar, including Buxar. However, under the NDA government, there is an atmosphere of love, brotherhood, and peace.
Taking a dig at the RJD supremo, he said that when he was about to go to jail, he made his wife the Chief Minister. Nitish strongly attacked nepotism and said that his party and the NDA alliance have never promoted nepotism, while the opposition has only promoted their sons, daughters, and wives.
The Chief Minister said that development has taken place without discrimination under the NDA government. Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, and backward castes have all received equal opportunities. The Chief Minister enumerated the development work done in education, health, road construction, and other sectors and said that before 2005, there were only six medical colleges in the state, while today work is underway to build medical colleges in 27 districts of the state.
The Chief Minister said that Bihar is leading the country in the field of women's empowerment. He said that along with Panchayat and local body elections, 35 percent reservation is being given to women in other departments including police, education, and health. He said that today, women in Bihar are rapidly advancing and performing well in all fields.
He said that 2.58 lakh teachers have been recruited in the state through the BPSC. Meanwhile, already employed teachers have also been promoted to the government cadre based on a competency test. He said that so far, 2.62 lakh employed teachers have become government teachers, and two more opportunities will be given to the remaining 77,000 employed teachers.
The Chief Minister's speech focused primarily on local issues and development plans in Buxar. He did not forget to mention the Malai Barrage, stating that its construction is nearing completion. The Chief Minister noted that the Buxar-Patna four-lane road, an agricultural college, an ITI college, and a medical college have been established in Dumraon. Companies have opened in Nawanagar in the employment sector.
In addition, the NDA government has established milestones in the construction of numerous roads, bridges, a new bridge over the Ganges in Buxar, and in the power sector.
Finally, the Chief Minister said that he had visited there once or twice, but now he will not leave, but will continue to lead Bihar on the path of development by staying with the NDA. He appealed to the people to ensure a landslide victory for the NDA candidates in all four assembly constituencies of Buxar district, including JDU candidate Rahul Kumar Singh in Dumraon.
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) National President Upendra Kushwaha announced from the Raj High School playground that Nitish Kumar will be the NDA's Chief Minister. He said that journalists repeatedly ask who will be the Chief Minister of Bihar under the NDA. He said that this question should not be asked from today. He said that just as the sun is destined to rise in the east, Nitish's becoming the Chief Minister of Bihar is also destined. He asserted that the NDA is united and will remain so. The election meeting was also addressed by JDU's acting national president Sanjay Jha, JDU candidate from Dumraon Rahul Singh, BJP candidate from Buxar Anand Mishra, Rajpur candidate Santosh Nirala and Brahmapur candidate Hulas Pandey, along with several local leaders.
