NITISH CABINET APPROVES 30 AGENDA
The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ended. Nitish cabinet has approved 30 agendas. The cabinet has approved the amendment in Rule 14 of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Members' Salary, Allowance and Pension Rules 2006.

PATNA-------------------------The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ended. Nitish cabinet has approved 30 agendas. The cabinet has approved the amendment in Rule 14 of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Members' Salary, Allowance and Pension Rules 2006.
Another gift from Nitish government: Earlier, the honorarium of cooks, night guards, physical teachers and health instructors of the education department was doubled. In Wednesday's meeting, a big decision has been taken regarding JP fighters and BLOs. The pension of JP fighters has been approved to be increased from Rs 7500 to Rs 15000 and those who get Rs 15000 will be given Rs 30000.
The cabinet also decided to increase the remuneration of BLOs. The remuneration of BLOs has been increased from Rs 10000 to Rs 14000. The cabinet has decided to increase the salary of BLO supervisor from 15000 to 18000. An amount of Rs 38 crore 75 lakh 83 thousand has been approved for payment of remuneration per annum to 90712 BLOs and ₹8245 BLO supervisors.
Approval for creation of clerical posts: In the financial year 2025-26, an amount of Rs 258 crore 60 lakh has been approved for development works of Bihar Agricultural University Sabour under the State Scheme. Approval has been given for creation of 459 lower class clerical posts in the Block Minority Welfare Office of the state under the Minority Welfare Department. An amount of Rs 3 billion 47 crore 51 lakh has been approved for payment of additional honorarium to Jeevika in the financial year 2025-26.
Big decision regarding industrial sector: At the same time, many other big agendas have been approved in the Bihar Cabinet. Approval has also been received from the cabinet to form five new industrial areas. In Begusarai, Rs 3 billion 51 crore 56 lakh 76 thousand 345 has been approved for the acquisition of 991 acres of land. At the same time, Rs 2 billion 19 crore 34 lakh 84 thousand 930 has been approved for the acquisition of 500 acres of land for the industrial area in Bakhtiyarpur of Patna district.
Approval for land acquisition: Under the Amritsar Kolkata Modern Corridor Project, the government has approved Rs 4 billion 16 crore for the acquisition of 1300 acres of land. Rs 41 crore 26 lakh has been approved for the acquisition of 548.87 acres of land for the expansion of the industrial area in Madhepura. At the same time, Rs 1 billion 13 crore 92 lakh 24 thousand 303 has been approved for the acquisition of 167.34 acres of land for the expansion of the industrial area in Siwan district.
Gaya Airport will be expanded: Rs 88 crore 113847 has been approved for the acquisition of 420 acres of land for the expansion of industrial area in Saharsa district. Rs 2 crore 90 lakh 91720 has been approved for conducting OLX survey of Veerpur, Munger, Valmiki Nagar, Muzaffarpur, Saharsa and Bhagalpur Green Field Airport. Rs 137 crore 17 lakh 16 thousand 16 has been approved for acquiring 18.24 acres of land under the expansion plan of Gaya Airport.
Focus on floods too: Rs 292 crore 74 lakh ₹4000 has been approved for connecting Chiraiyatad flyover to Mithapur flyover in Patna city, Rs 82 crore 99 lakh 48000 has been approved for construction of suspension bridge only including rescue work on Punpun river.
Approval has been given for creation of additional posts in the State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission in the Food and Consumer Protection Department. Financial incentives have been approved on private capital investment of Rs 35 crore 14 lakh 93000 for setting up a 600 MTPA capacity unit in M/s Maa Prabhavati Textile Mills Industrial Area Garu Gaya. On establishment of the unit, along with capital investment in the state, 237 skilled and skilled workers will be employed.
Bihar Driver Recruitment and Service Condition Rules 2025 have been approved. Approval has been given to give 50% tax exemption at the time of registration of new vehicle on scrapping of all medium and heavy cargo passenger motor vehicles manufactured as per emission standard Bharat Stage 2.
It has been decided to make arrangements for citizen friendly infrastructure like waiting room, drinking water, toilet Didi Ki Rasoi facilities in all DM offices. An amount of Rs 3 billion 47 crore 51 lakh has been approved for payment of additional honorarium to Jeevika in the financial year 2025 - 26.
