RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA-------------------------During a formal meeting, Acharya Pt. Ram Avdhesh Chaturvedi informed that Sharadiya Navratri begins on Monday, September 22, 2025. This year's Sharadiya Navratri will last for ten days. During this year's Sharadiya Navratri, All-Bhuvaneshwari Mother Goddess will arrive riding an elephant, a symbol of auspiciousness. Scripture states that when Mother Goddess arrives riding an elephant, that year brings abundant rainfall, good harvests, all the wishes of her devotees are fulfilled, and the devotees spend a happy time.

This year's Sharadiya Navratri, Mother Goddess will remain seated for ten days to bless her devotees and depart on the eleventh day, Thursday, October 2, Vijayadashami. This departure of Mother Goddess will take place on a human vehicle. The scriptures say that when Mother Goddess departs on a human vehicle, it brings only auspiciousness to her devotees. Such a beautiful combination of arrival and departure is rarely seen.

Regarding the installation of the Kalash, the scriptures say that when Vaidhriti Yoga is prevalent in the Chitra Nakshatra, the Kalash should not be installed during that time; instead, in this situation, the Kalash should be installed during the Abhijit Muhurta. However, this year, neither Chitra Nakshatra is present nor Vaidhriti Yoga is prevalent. Therefore, from morning till the end of the day, the auspicious time for installing the Kalash is Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra and Hasta Nakshatra, and during Shukla Yoga. On this day, the Abhijit Muhurta, which brings victory and fulfills all wishes, will last from 11:36 am to 12:24 pm. This day is also the best time for performing the child's Punsavan Sanskar, Seemant Sanskar, Jatakarma Sanskar, Namkaran Sanskar, and Bhoomiupaveshan Sanskar.
