SASARAM---------------------------A 25-year-old milk vendor died on Friday night near the Ambedkar Kalyan hostel of Patel College on Sasaram Road in the Bikramganj police station area of the district. The deceased was reportedly Golu Kumar, alias Mohit Raj, son of the late Munmun Singh, an advocate, and a resident of Ward 10 on Dhangai Road in the Bikramganj Municipal Council. He was on his way to his Osam Milk Dairy shop in the Sanjhauli police station area on Friday, October 3, at around 11 p.m., when he was struck by a speeding unknown vehicle and died on the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, Bikramganj Police Station Officer Lalan Kumar, along with police personnel, reached the scene, took possession of the body, and admitted him to the Dhangai Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. The doctor declared him dead. Upon receiving the news, Golu's uncle, Advocate Chunchun Singh, rushed to the hospital and began crying out loud. In this regard, Station House Officer Lalan Kumar stated that the post-mortem was conducted at the District Sadar Hospital, Sasaram, on Saturday morning, and the body was handed over to the family, completing the legal procedures. The family is in mourning following the incident. The deceased left behind his wife, Nippy Devi, and 4-year-old daughter, Nitya, who are in deep grief.
