BUXAR-------------------------After the construction of the Ara-Buxar four-lane highway, while the speed of vehicles has increased, there has also been a continuous rise in road accidents. On Sunday evening, a tragic accident near Dalsagar village in the Industrial Police Station area claimed the life of local resident Rajkumar Chaubey alias Raju Chaubey.

Rajkumar Chaubey (60 years old) was going on his scooter near the four-lane highway near Dalsagar for some work when a speeding unknown vehicle hit him forcefully and fled the scene. The collision was so powerful that the scooter was completely destroyed, and Chaubey was seriously injured. Nearby people immediately took him to the Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Local residents said that Rajkumar Chaubey had returned to his village after retiring from his job in Gujarat and was starting a new business. His showroom was under construction near the Harikishunpur turn on the highway. On Sunday, he had left home to supervise the construction work when the accident occurred.

Meanwhile, local youth Shubham Chaubey has blamed the lack of a service road on the four-lane highway for the accidents. He says that due to the absence of a service road in the Dalsagar area, people use the main road for commuting, which is leading to an increase in such accidents. Villagers are demanding that the administration construct a service road to prevent such accidents in the future. The police have started an investigation into the matter and are searching for the फरार vehicle.
