PATNA---------------------------Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan of Himachal High Court has become the new Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. A notification has been issued by the Law Ministry regarding this. A few days ago, the Supreme Court Collegium had recommended him to be appointed as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. Vipul Manubhai Pancholi has been made the Chief Justice of Patna High Court.

Law Minister Arjun Meghwal posted on X and released the list of 5 new Chief Justices and 4 transferred Chief Justices. Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice MS Ramachandra Rao has been transferred to Tripura High Court. Patna High Court Acting Chief Justice Ashutosh Kumar has been made the Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court. Justice Tarlok has played the role of Acting Chief Justice in Himachal High Court twice. He was born on 9 January 1964 in Rohru, Shimla.
