The Jan Suraj Party has suffered a major setback in the Sandesh Assembly constituency of Bhojpur district. Several active party workers have announced their resignations after being denied party tickets. The angry party workers say they have been actively working in the area under Prashant Kishore's leadership for the past year. They organized meetings and worked day and night to strengthen the organization. Furthermore, the workers said they had paid a registration fee of 21,000 rupees, but were cheated in ticket distribution.

The angry party workers alleged that Prashant Kishore gave tickets to people who had never even registered the party in the constituency. Active party worker Sanjeev Singh, also known as Mian Singh, revealed that he received a WhatsApp call from the party, promising to pay 20 lakh rupees for a ticket. He questioned how a poor person would get so much money, and whether Jan Suraj Party (JSP) has now started playing money-based politics.

Sonia Singh, who is also claiming a ticket from the party, also leveled serious allegations against Prashant Kishor. She said, "Prashant Kishor turned out to be a fraud. We worked for the party with complete dedication for a year, but when we go to meet him, we are asked, 'Who are these people?'" Sonia Singh further stated that Jan Suraj Party used its workers and now they have been sidelined. The disgruntled workers have announced that they are resigning from the Jan Suraj Party and, if the public so desires, will contest the elections as independents.
