The Election Commission has announced a big relief for booth level officers (BLOs) and other election workers (BLO Salary Increased) engaged in the special intensive revision campaign of the voter list. The commission has significantly increased their honorarium, which will also boost the morale of the election workers working at the lower level. Now BLOs will get double the remuneration for their work as compared to earlier.

PATNA-----------------------The Election Commission has announced a big relief for booth level officers (BLOs) and other election workers (BLO Salary Increased) engaged in the special intensive revision campaign of the voter list. The commission has significantly increased their honorarium, which will also boost the morale of the election workers working at the lower level. Now BLOs will get double the remuneration for their work as compared to earlier.
The monthly honorarium of BLO has been increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000. The additional payment for revision work has also been increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000. Apart from this, BLO supervisor will now get Rs 18,000 instead of Rs 12,000. Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) will be paid Rs 30,000 and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) will be paid Rs 25,000.
