Huge increase in social security pension. I am very happy to inform that the Bihar Government has decided to increase the monthly pension amount given to the elderly, disabled and widowed women under the Social Security Pension Scheme from ₹ 400 to ₹ 1100 per month.

ARA--------------------------Huge increase in social security pension. I am very happy to inform that the Bihar Government has decided to increase the monthly pension amount given to the elderly, disabled and widowed women under the Social Security Pension Scheme from ₹ 400 to ₹ 1100 per month. This new rate will be applicable from the month of July and this amount will be sent to the bank accounts of all eligible beneficiaries on the 10th of every month. This decision will directly benefit 1 crore 9 lakh 69 thousand 255 beneficiaries, which will help them to live a self-reliant and respectable life. The elderly are the invaluable treasure of our society. Ensuring their respect, security and happy living is the top priority of our government. The state government is committed to its responsibilities towards social justice and welfare and will continue to work in the same spirit in future also.
