FORMER BIHAR PFI CHIEF ARRESTED

PATNA-----------------------The central investigation agency NIA has once again got a big success. Just a few days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bihar visit (Purnia), the NIA has arrested Mehboob Alam Nadvi, former Bihar chief of the banned organization PFI i.e. Popular Front of India.

In a joint raid by NIA and Bihar Police, former Bihar chief of PFI i.e. Popular Front of India Mehboob Alam Nadvi has been arrested from his hideout in Mohuddinpur, Kishanganj. Along with this, many suspicious documents have also been recovered. It is being told that he was hiding in Kishanganj for the last six months and was teaching in a private school.

It is known that Mehboob Alam Nadvi fled to Oman after the ATS raid in Phulwarisharif, Patna in the year 2022. He stayed in Oman for two years and then returned in March 2025 and made his base in Kishanganj's Haleem Chowk and Mohuddinpur.

Initial investigations revealed that PFI members were conspiring to carry out terrorist activities, provide arms training and disturb communal harmony, after which the Bihar Police transferred the case to the NIA.
