ARA----------------------------Officials of the power supply company, South Bihar Power Holding Corporation, raided various localities in Piro town and apprehended three individuals using electricity illegally. An FIR has been filed against them at the Piro police station under the Bihar Electricity Act. In the FIR filed by Ekant Kumar Aditya, junior engineer of the power company, it was stated that during the raid, illegal electricity use was found in Vijay Singh's residential complex in Dusadihbadhar, Ward No. 4, Piro town. The homeowner has been fined ₹32,119. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Ward No. 5, was fined ₹112,059 for illegal electricity use in his residential complex, and Mo. Israfil was fined ₹110,961 for a similar incident. Failure to pay the fines will result in action against these individuals under various sections of the Bihar Electricity Act 2003.
