PATNA---------------------------There is a lot of political uproar in Bihar regarding special intensive revision. Meanwhile, a video from Gayaji has gone viral very fast. In this video, which shames democracy, BLO is seen demanding bribe to add name in voter list and then taking bribe. In this video, bribery of a BLO (Booth Level Officer) has been exposed. In the video, it has come to light that BLO took money in the name of filling online form. The administration has taken cognizance in this matter.

The incident is of Urdu booth number 119 located in Madhya Vidyalaya Nauranga of Manpur block, where BLO Gaurishankar is seen asking for money from voters in the name of 'tea-paani'. As soon as this video went viral on social media, there was a stir in the administration.

It is clearly visible in the viral video that BLO is taking money from the voter in exchange for filling online form. Local people say that money was being taken in this manner for the past several days. Many elderly people and women remained silent out of fear. Some even protested, but they were threatened that 'if they do not remain silent, the name will not be added.

As soon as the video surfaced, Block Development Officer (BDO) Ved Prakash took it seriously and immediately ordered to register an FIR against the concerned BLO. He said, 'Adding name in the voter list is a completely free process. This kind of recovery is not only illegal, but it is a betrayal of the democratic system.
