FACILITY EXPANSION AT RAILWAY STATIONS OF BIHAR

PATNA--------------------------There is a relief news for the railway passengers of Bihar. East Central Railway has decided to expand the facilities at stations like Bihta, Kulharia, Raghunathpur, Bakhtiyarpur and Fatuha under Danapur division. Large display boards and coach guidance systems will be installed at these stations, so that passengers can easily get the position of the train coach and other important information.

Danapur Division of East Central Railway has planned to equip Bihta, Kulharia, Raghunathpur, Bakhtiyarpur and Fatuha stations with modern facilities. The display boards installed at these stations will display information about the arrival, departure and exact position of the train coach. This will facilitate passengers in finding the right coach on the platform and reduce congestion at the stations.

Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said that this step has been taken to increase the convenience of the passengers. Through the Coach Guidance System, passengers will get real-time information about the train status and coach. This facility will be very beneficial especially for passengers traveling at small stations, where such a system was not available earlier.

The work of improving the infrastructure at these stations under Danapur division is also going on at a fast pace. Special attention is being given to facilities like cleanliness, ticket counters and waiting rooms. The aim of the Railways is to provide a comfortable and smooth travel experience to the passengers.

After the announcement of this facility expansion, discussions have also started in the political corridors of Bihar. Some leaders have called it a gift for Bihar from the central government, while the opposition has termed it as a strategy to woo the public before the assembly elections.

This initiative is an important step towards making rail travel more convenient at Bihta, Kulharia, Raghunathpur and other stations.
