EVEN OFFICERS ARE NOT SAFE IN ROHTAS

SASARAM--------------------------A serious case of insecurity of officers has come to light in Rohtas district. On Thursday evening, a woman CO of Suryapura zone was robbed on Kaimur hill of Darigaon police station area. After which Rohtas police took immediate action and arrested three accused. It is said that Goldie Kumari, the woman circle officer of Suryapura zone of the district, had gone to enjoy the natural beauty and hill environment with a friend on Kaimur hill of Darigaon police station area on Thursday evening at around five o'clock, when some youths robbed her while beating her and took away her mobile along with some cash. After the incident, Suryapura Zonal Officer Goldie Kumari has lodged an FIR in Darigaon police station, after which the police of Darigaon police station raided and arrested three accused involved in the incident. All the three arrested accused are said to be residents of Karserua village of Darigaon police station area, whom the police have arrested from their house.

In the case, Darigaon police station chief Kapil Dev Paswan said that an FIR has been lodged by Suryapura Zonal Officer Goldie Kumari regarding the robbery and assault incident that took place on Kaimur hill on Thursday evening. The police have arrested all the three accused involved in the incident and further action is going on. He said that the arrested accused include Shubham alias Sandeep Bind, son of Ramdev Bind, Pawan Kumar, son of Purnvasi Bind and Jackie Gupta, son of Devanand Shah. All the accused are residents of Karserua village of the police station area, who have been taken into judicial custody and sent to jail for the time being.
