ARA----------------------------The condition of the road going to Banahi station in front of Shahpur police station was the worst, people had to pass through water due to waterlogging and people started cursing the arrangements of the city government.

One hour of rain in Shahpur Nagar Panchayat of the district exposed the drainage system. Due to the sudden torrential rain on Friday afternoon, waterlogging occurred in many places of the city, due to which normal life was disrupted. The condition of the road going to Banahi station in front of Shahpur police station was the worst, where waterlogging has made the problem more serious. The situation here has exposed the failure of the drainage system made by the city government, and people have started cursing the arrangements of the city government.

People going towards Banahi Road from Shahpur Thana Mor had to pass through water due to waterlogging on the road, which can prove to be dangerous. This main road is very important because all the main government institutions like referral hospital, block office, zonal office, electricity department, and Nagar Panchayat office are located on it. Apart from this, Banahi Railway Station also has to be reached through this route.

The dilapidated condition of this road right in front of Shahpur police station has put a question mark on the working style of the Nagar Panchayat. Traveling on this road is not free from danger. On the one hand, the Nagar Panchayat administration is spending crores of rupees on cleanliness of the city and construction of drains and streets, on the other hand, Banahi Railway Station Road is still deprived of development.
