ARA-------------------------Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania inspected the Ara Medical College campus and reviewed the ongoing construction work there in detail. This visit is a clear indication of the priorities being given by the district administration for strengthening health services and establishing a medical college. During the inspection, the District Magistrate laid special emphasis on the quality of construction, timeliness and transparency of the works.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate took a close look at the drainage system, main entrance and other structures under construction in the college campus. He saw that the drainage system should be effective and permanent, so that the problem of waterlogging does not arise in future. Also, the strength, beauty and utility of the main gate were also discussed in detail.
District Magistrate Mr. Tanay Sultania gave clear instructions to the officials of the concerned departments present on the spot that any kind of negligence or lack of quality in the construction work will not be tolerated. He also said that all the work should be completed within the stipulated time frame so that the medical college can be dedicated to the public soon.
On this inspection occasion, Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer of Ara Sadar and other technical and administrative officers were also present. All the officers were instructed to monitor the work regularly and keep the district administration informed about its updated status.
The establishment of a medical college in the district will not only prove to be a milestone for health services, but it will also open new opportunities in the field of medical education for the local youth. With the start of the medical college, treatment of serious diseases in the district will now be possible at the local level, so that people will not need to go to Patna or other big cities.
