In such a situation, various discussions are going on about their hiding in Bihiya area. Some people say that the three had reached Bihiya area in preparation to flee to some new hideouts.
It is being said that the three were trying to escape to some other state from Bihiya by train. With that, the three first reached Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh's native village Chakrahi. After that, they left for Bihiya early on Tuesday morning. Then on the way, there was a clash with STF and police. During that time, heavy firing took place from both sides. In that, Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh and Balwant Singh were injured by police bullets.
It is being told that Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh is a resident of Chakarhi of Bihiya police station area, while Balwant Singh and Abhishek Kumar are residents of Liladharpur and Parsiya village of Buxar. It is being said that after the CCTV footage related to the high profile murder of Chandan Mishra in Patna and the incident came out, all three left for their village to escape from the police. From there, all three were preparing to go to a safe place. Then STF and Bhojpur police got a tip-off.
Here, some people say that since Monday evening, the police had got a tip-off that some criminals were hiding in Bihiya area. Regarding that, since Monday night, the police was secretly raiding various places in Jagdishpur and Bihiya area.
Balwant Kumar Singh, son of Jang Bahadur Singh, resident of Liladharpur village of Chakki police station area of Buxar district and Ravi Ranjan Kumar, son of Keshav Singh, resident of Chakarhi village of Bihiya police station area, were injured in an encounter between criminals and Bihar STF team on Tuesday early morning near Englishpur dam on Bihiya-Kateya road of Bihiya police station area. Injured Balwant Kumar Singh has been shot in the knee of the left leg, in the thigh of the right leg, in the right leg near the knee and in the left hand. While injured Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh has been shot in the thigh of the left leg.
Here, on-duty doctor Dr. Saurabh Kumar present in Sadar Hospital said that injured Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh has been shot in the thigh of the left leg. Due to the bullet, the bone there has fractured and he needs an operation. While injured Balwant Kumar Singh has been shot in both legs and hands. In which one bullet has hit the thigh of his right leg which is stuck inside. After first aid, both of them have been referred to a higher centre for better treatment.
