DECISION TO TAKE PART IN THE VOTE RIGHTS YATRA TO BE HELD ON AUGUST 30 IN ARA: KUNAL

ARA--------------------------A one-day meeting of CPI-ML District Committee was held today in the District Office, Ara. In the meeting, discussions were held on the current political situation including the Vote Rights Yatra being organized by the Election Commission on the call of SIR, India, in which CPI-ML National General Secretary Com. Dipankar Bhattacharya, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav participated. Chief Guest Com. Kunal State Secretary attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by District Secretary Jawahar Lal Singh.

Com. Kunal said in the meeting that in the report received in the meeting of SIR being run by the Election Commission in Bihar, it was seen that there is widespread irregularity in the draft list and deletion list. Double entry of BJP supporters, names of dead people and names of shifted people have also been included. But on the other hand, the names of the poor have been deleted. The names of those who have gone out of Bihar and the district for employment have also been deleted.

He said that our party is running a Booth Chalo campaign to fill Form 6, 7, 8 etc. To give momentum to this, a convention of active comrades at the block level BLA 2, branch secretaries booths will be held. This convention will be held in two blocks tomorrow and in all the blocks on the 18th.

He further said that on August 30, on the call of India, the Vote Adhikar Yatra to be held in Ara, in which CPI-ML National General Secretary Com. Dipankar Bhattacharya, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav will participate, was discussed in the meeting. In which a decision has been taken to make this yatra successful on a wide scale. Thousands of people from the district will participate. Publicity campaign will be run at various places.

He said that to give momentum to the election campaign, Booth Chalo campaign, Patna City Secretary and Central Committee Member Com. Abhyudaya will work in Bhojpur.

Many committee members including Central Committee member Raju Yadav, Raju Yadav, Agiaon MLA Shivprakash Ranjan, State Committee member Kayamuddin Ansari, Indu Singh, Ramesh ji, Sanjay Singh, former MLA Chandradeep Singh, Sangeet Singh, Sabir Kumar, Upendra Bharti attended this meeting.
